Dvorak

I'd like to bring to everybody's attention a fun website called Dvorak.

It's a customizable card game, one in which you get to create your own deck of cards and play them with special rules.... OK. I'm not making it sound as fun as it actually is. That description is no good, go to the actual site, you'll enjoy it!

I have I user page on that wiki as well, go to User:Hatkirby. I have recommended some of the games on that page, and I have also put a link there to a deck I made myself. So try it! Go to Dvork and play! IT'S FUN!

EDIT: Oh yes, I forgot, I have a few questions I need to ask. I'd put them in the comments, but it saddens me to notice that no-one ever reads those anyway, so here they are (If you know the answer to any of them, please email it to me):

  • In Xubuntu, how to you get the display to stop turning off every 5 minutes of idleness, because it is driving me insane.
  • Also in Xubuntu, does anyone know how to turn of the BEEP noise, because in GNOME there was an obvious way to do it in the Control Panel, but that's not there in Xfce.

The internet of all knowingness tells me that you should install GNOME Power Manager and run the GNOME Power Preferences. The option should be there. On the other hand, I could be completely wrong, due to the fact that I only spent 4 minutes and 36.92034 seconds searching the web to find this info.

I've done that already, however, and it didn't work.

This might help, but no promises http://kmandla.wordpress.com/2007/09/17/blacklist-your-pc-speaker/

I may end up just installing the normal Ubuntu again if I can't fix it.
